I remember my favorite street in Chicago was Dearborn in the south loop 'cause it reminded me of NYC. It's the fire escapes.
Now that I'm in NY, this shot reminds me of Dearborn St and Printers Row and the fantastic burgers on dark rye at Hackneys. Can anyone tell me why there's no dark rye in NYC? Nice shot, Olive.
Love the criss crossing stairs and shadows. The layering of the branches on top of all the geometric shapes keeps the photo looking really alive rather than static. Great Photo!
But organized! There's man-made order and organic order. Together at last.

ReplyDeleteI am also a fan of the emergency stairwell in New York! I love the geometry and patterns they create.
