That's beautiful.

When I worked on Ellis in '84 and '85 we would occasionally have a picnic with some rangers from the Statue of Liberty. Just a simple spread of Cheese, salami and white wine while we talked and looked at this view of Manhattan. Thanks for reminding me how lucky I was and still am.

Tintin: I thought it would make a great spot for a picnic too. We were there around Christmas - not quite a time for the great outdoors...

In all the times I've visited NY, I've never been to Ellis Island. It's definitely on my list for next time!

I love the way the city peeks out from behind the bare bush. You capture architecture really well.
